We are a church for people who don’t do church. Whether you believe what we do or not, no matter your religious background or lack thereof, we want this to be a safe place for you to explore the teachings of Jesus. It also means we are more interested in being the church in our community than just attending church.

God accepts all of us and where we are at on our spiritual journey.
Even though God accepts where we are at on our spiritual journey, He doesn’t leave us there. He wants to transform all of us to be more like Jesus.
God designed us to live in real connection with others.
Real, transparent relationships are what help us grow the most.
Jesus came to serve – not to be served and we should follow His example.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s word, inspired, without error, and our final authority for life.
God
We believe in one Godhead that exists in three Persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each is co-equal in their Godhead and yet different in role and function.
God the Father
We believe God the Father is loving and cares deeply for all humanity. He cared enough to send His Son to die in our place.
Jesus
We believe God the Son (Jesus) lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended back to heaven and will return again one day soon.
Holy Spirit
We believe God the Holy Spirit lives in all believers from the point of conversion. His job is to guide, empower, convict, teach, remind and transform us to live like Christ.
People
We believe all people are created in God’s image but are separated from Him by sin and need salvation. We believe God loves all people and wants everyone to be saved.
Salvation / Eternal Security
We believe we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We also believe once someone has put their faith in Jesus, they are eternally secure in that relationship.
Baptism
We believe baptism is a one-time public declaration that someone has put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is something God wants all Christ-followers to do but is not part of salvation.
Satan
We believe Satan is a fallen angel and a defeated foe - who will do everything in his limited power to prevent people from putting their faith in Jesus or being effective as Christ-followers after they do.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ and the Bride of Christ. The global church and local churches are called to love God, love people and go into all the world to lead others into a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
Eternity
We believe that everyone will live forever somewhere. Either in heaven with God or apart from God in hell.
wants a relationship with each of us.
One of the things Jesus modeled so well was how to have a strong relationship with God the Father. He spent large amounts of time growing that relationship. So,God should be the center of our lives. And the crazy thing is God wants a real, personal, growing relationship with each of us and wants that relationship to impact everything we do.
to learn the teachings of Jesus.
Jesus consistently gathered people together to teach them how to live in a real relationship with God. And applying His teachings is what transforms our lives. So we want everyone to gather in one of our Epic worship environments (on campus / online) to hear the teachings of Jesus and how those teachings can impact us.
with God and others in community.
At Epic, we believe we grow our relationship with God and others best through groups. Jesus did life with His small group of disciples and transformed the world through them. We offer community groups and short-term spiritual growth groups that help us learn to do life together, to talk and listen to God, read the Bible, apply what we are learning, serve like Jesus, and share our faith.
of our time, talents, and treasures.
Since God is a generous giver, He wants us to learn to give like He does. God wants us to give of our time, talents, and treasures to help lead more people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Through giving, we learn that all we have is God’s and we learn what Jesus meant when He said it is better to give than receive.
tell everyone about Jesus.
In Matthew 28, Jesus commanded His followers to go into all the world and tell people about Him. Its only when we introduce people to Jesus that they can be transformed by Him for all eternity. So, everywhere we go, we should tell people about Jesus with our life and words.
